Linkwood Distillery, situated on the outskirts of Elgin in the Speyside region of Scotland, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1824. Known for producing high-quality single-malt Scotch whisky, Linkwood has garnered a reputation for its smooth and balanced flavours.

Renowned for crafting exceptional single-malt Scotch whisky, a second distillery was built opposite Linkwoods’ old buildings in 1972.

Since 1997, the distillery has been owned by Diageo, placing it among esteemed brands, such as Glenkinchie, Glen Spey, and Johnnie Walker. If you didn't catch our tour of Glenkinchie, you can find it here.

Whisky Region - more about  Speyside

You will find Linkwood positioned adjacent to Glen Moray and to the north of BenRiach Distillery. Situated in the Speyside region, considered the world’s most populated whisky region.
Speyside whiskies are often aged in sherry casks, which help ripen their fruity flavours with notes of honey and spice.
